Family Photo Shoots
Life doesn’t slow down, yet photos will let you hold on to the moments that matter most. A family photoshoot is more than pictures—it’s a way to preserve the love, laughter, and connection you share today.
Welcome Home
The first weeks are a blur — beautiful, exhausting, and gone before you know it. A newborn session captures your baby when they're still impossibly small, and you as a family in this specific moment that will never come back.
The Beginning of Every Story
This in-between time — waiting, growing, almost there — deserves to be remembered. Not just how you looked, but how it felt. A maternity session done right is quiet and unhurried, and the photos last forever.
Event Photography
A simcha is made of moments you’ll want to remember forever — the pride, the joy, the togetherness, the emotion in the room. Event photography preserves not just how it looked, but how it felt. Don’t let these once-in-a-lifetime moments pass by undocumented.
The Fox Family’s Photo Day
A children’s book to help kids feel comfortable on photo day
Photo day can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming for children.
“The Fox Family’s Photo Day” is a short, beautifully illustrated book that gently prepares them for the experience — helping them feel relaxed, engaged, and ready to enjoy the moment.
About Me
Hi, I’m Marc Felsenstein. I’m 35, married, and a proud parent of two wonderful kids, living in the heart of Jerusalem.
I’m a native English and Spanish speaker, and I’ve spent enough time in Israel to occasionally pass as an undercover Israeli.
Photography has always been the lens with which I tell stories; I see it as a very powerful tool. It’s also where my love for art meets my fascination with technology — a place where I can combine creativity, precision, and storytelling to capture moments that truly matter.
I specialize in family and couples photography, but what I really love is capturing connection. Those unguarded smiles, quiet glances, and playful bursts of laughter — the moments that feel ordinary at the time but become extraordinary memories. Every session is an opportunity to freeze those fleeting instances and turn them into something timeless.
I’m based in Jerusalem, which gives me a special perspective on capturing families, couples, and life as it unfolds in the holy city. Shooting here allows me to create images that are not only beautiful but also rooted in place and story — a subtle connection between your family and generations past. Whether we’re wandering the quiet lanes of the Old City, enjoying soft light in a park, or venturing out to the sea or other locations across Israel, I focus on helping everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and present in the moment.
I’d love to help you capture your moment in time, your connections and your special story, whether it’s a family day, a couple’s milestone, or just an awesome moment you want to remember forever.

When dealing with kids we want to keep it short and concise; whereas special ocassions and smachot may pass the 2 hour mark.

It’s all about your vibe.
Nature offers open light, warmth, and freedom — perfect for playful family or couple moments.
The shore has a calm, minimalist energy to it.
Jerusalem brings a classic, timeless feel — its stone walls and hidden corners add quiet depth to every frame.
We’ll chat about what fits you best before the shoot. -
It really depends on the feel you're going for.
If you want something timeless — photos that feel rooted in place and carry a sense of heritage — the Old City and the neighborhood of Yemin Moshe are hard to beat. The stone, the light, the quiet corners — they add something you can't manufacture.
If you're drawn to nature, the honest answer is that the best spots shift with the seasons. Reach out and we'll figure out together what makes sense for when you're planning to shoot. My phone number is +972 0548106621.

I have a post with simple tips on choosing outfits for each season — but in general, soft and neutral tones work best. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourselves.

It depends on the session. For most family shoots, you'll receive at least 50 fully edited images — though this doesn't apply to newborn sessions or events, which work differently.
For events, deliveries typically start at 150 photos. But the best way to know exactly what to expect for your specific occasion is to get in touch directly. Give me a call at +972 0548106621.

The usual range is around two weeks after the photoshoot, but if I can send them earlier, I’ll be thrilled to do so.
Albums take longer given the extra steps: album design, approval, printing & delivery.
-
If we hit rain or harsh light, we’ll reschedule or move to an indoor spot — no stress. We will create something beautiful, no matter the conditions.
-
It depends on when the cancellation happens:
More than 2 weeks before the shoot: No charge.
Within 2 weeks of the shoot date: 25% of the total fee will be charged.
Within 3 days of the shoot: 60% of the total fee will be charged.
Cancellations on the same day: 75% of the total fee will be charged.
This policy helps me reserve your date and ensures fairness for both sides.
-
A small down payment is made when we book your date to reserve the spot.
The remaining balance is paid the day of the photoshoot. -
Yes. I work with an amazing Album Designer. If you decide you want one let me know and I she will reach out and explain the process of putting it together.
-
Yes — and it usually shows up before the shoot even starts.
A professional photographer brings experience: knowing how to work with kids and newborns, how to read a location, how to choose the right spot at the right time of year, and how to keep things moving when nothing goes to plan. You're not just booking someone who can take a nice photo — you're booking someone who has done this enough times to know how to deliver.
When you hand someone a camera and hope for the best, the results are unpredictable. When you book a professional, they're not.
